John Robert Ellis

John Robert Ellis, 60, of Lucasville, died Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2011. He was born April 20, 1951, a son of the late Wade and Bertha Smyers Ellis. John is survived by his wife, Lois Tackett Ellis; 3 sons, Raymond Moore, David Moore, John Ellis, Jr.; 8 daughters, May Moore, Mary Mullins, Angela Moore, Elizabeth Ellis, Tracy Ellis, Gail, Kim, and Tammy; 17 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and many brothers and sisters. He was also preceded in death by many other brothers and sisters. D.W. Swick Funeral Home in New Boston is in charge of arrangements. Private burial services at a later date.
