Jeff Smith

Jeff Smith, a retired commercial roofer of Columbus, succumbed peacefully to cancer comforted by family at his side; Kay (mother) and David Mills of Wheelersburg, Gene (father) and Angie Smith of Avon Park, FL, and Michael (brother) and Gloria Smith of Louisville, KY. One week prior to his death, Jeff embraced Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. As a former, long time resident of New Boston, Jeff enjoyed electronics and the Buckeyes. He is survived by his son (Jeffrey Lee) and grandson (Jeff) both of Columbus and was preceded in death by grandparents Lena and Clayton Smith. Funeral is Saturday with Pastor Ken Mosser (Sunbury, OH) officiating the celebration. Memorial services will be 12 Noon Saturday February 22, 2014 at D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME IN NEW BOSTON.
