Jeanne Harlow Holbrook

Jeanne Harlow Holbrook, age 77 of New Boston passed away suddenly on Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at SOMC Emergency Department Jeanne was born July 27, 1939 in Carter County, KY to the late Bill and Margie Cummings Harlow She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Lorie; three brothers Martin (Bud), Buck, and Glen Harlow; and son-in-law, Chris Evans Jeanne was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and friend to many.

Jeanne is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Roger Holbrook whom she married February 14, 1959 in South Portsmouth, KY; four daughters, Kathy (Chris) Bender of New Boston, Kimberly (Danny) Lawless and Kristy Evans of Lucasville, and Regina (Jody) McGuire of Portsmouth; a son, Roger (Lisa) Holbrook, II of Lucasville; a brother, Darrell (Jamie) Harlow of Grayson, KY; eight grandchildren who she adored, Jessica (Eric) Voiers, Cody (Danielle) Bender, Hannah (Luke) Bender, Aimee Taylor, McKensey Lawless, Kaitlin (Trey) Branham, Chase (Rachel) and Levi (Keileigh) Horsley, and four step-grandchildren, Leann Gideon, Danielle Lawless, Chelsey and Morgan McGuire; eight great-grandchildren who were her pride and joy, Tanner, Brady, McKylie and Cam Voiers, Kendall, Connor and Kennedy Bender, and Beyleigh Horsley, and two step great-grandchildren, Gracie and Ethan; many nieces and nephews Jeanne will be greatly missed by her family and friends A special thank you to Portsmouth Ambulance Service and the emergency department and staff of SOMC.

Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, October 3, 2016 at the D.W.SWICK - NELSON FUNERAL HOME in New Boston with Pastor Brian Holbrook officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday and one hour prior to the services on Monday at the funeral home.
