Jamie Mae Burson

Age 50, of Portsmouth, passed away Tuesday, September 10, 2019 at SOMC Hospice in Portsmouth She was born March 15, 1969 in Salem, Ohio to Paul and Jane (Miley) Burson Jamie was a member of the Portsmouth High School Class of 1987 She worked as a retail cashier and in her spare time enjoyed cooking, gardening, her pets, and listening to the music of Elvis Presley She was a wonderful mother and will be greatly missed.

She is survived by longtime partner, Tony Rowe; the woman she considered her mother, Barbara Rowe; daughter, Michala Rowe (special friend Eli Traylor) of Portsmouth; sister, Julie Boyd of Portsmouth; several nephews In addition to her father and birth mother, she was preceded in death by a sister, Jane Burson.

Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, September 12, 2019 at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Franklin Furnace Arrangements are being handled by D.W.
