James "Jimmy" Louis Blackburn

James "Jimmy" Louis Blackburn, Jr., 14, of Portsmouth, died, Friday, Dec. 16, 2011 at his residence. He was born April 27, 1997, in Bowling Green, KY, a son of James and Glynis Sloan Blackburn. Jimmy was a student at Portsmouth Junior High School. He is also survived by two brothers, Glenn Miller and Marvin Blackburn; a sister, Amanda Miller; a special aunt Shirley Pettit and several other aunts, uncles, and cousins. Jimmy was preceded in death by a brother, Murl Everett Wolf. Services will be 1:00 pm, Thurs., Dec. 22, 2011 at the Cornerstone United Methodist Church with Reverend Clark Hess and Pastor Doug Shugert officiating. Burial will be at Salem Cemetery. Visitation will be Thurs. from 11-1 at Cornerstone United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to help with funeal expenses may be made to D.W.
