Hubert Kimbler

Hubert Kimbler, 63, of Portsmouth died Thurs., March 18, 2010 at SOMC Hospice Center. He was born Dec. 21, 1946 in Portsmouth, a son of the late Hubert Kimbler Sr. and Doris Robinson Kimbler. He was a custodian at Notre Dame Elementry School and was a member of the Church of God Mt. Assembly in South Shore, KY. He is survived by his wife, Vickie Hammonds Kimbler; two sons, Russell Kimbler and Shaun Kimbler both of Portsmouth; a daughter, Stormy Gulley of Portsmouth; one sister, Carolyn Nelson of Piketon; three brothers, Mike Kimbler of Florida, Darrell Ramey of Portsmouth and Gary Ashley of Dayton. He was also preceded in death by two sons, Billy Wayne Kimbler and Timothy Ryan Kimbler and a sister, Sarah Pence. Services will be 1 PM Sat. March 20, 2010 at D.W. Swick Funeral Home in New Boston with Pastor Brian Holbrook officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Friday 5 to 8 PM and Saturday 12 Noon to 1 PM at D.W.
