Howard E. Sanford

Age 88 passed away May 29, 2017 at his daughter’s home in Indiana He was born July 14, 1928 and was a World War II, Korean, and Vietnam War Veteran, a Lifetime Disabled American Veteran and member of the VFW He served in both the Army and Navy from which he retired after twenty years of service He was preceded in death by his beloved and only son, Howard M. Sanford as well as his sisters and brothers He is survived by his loving wife, Kathryn Sanford; daughters, Rosella (David) Simmons, Theresa (Kurt) Stocker, and Mary Adams; his seven loved grandchildren, Monte (Chas) Messer, Rosa Lansing, Joshua Sanford, Elijah Sanford, Devin (Rasheeda ) Walters, Katie (Brad) Rosebrock, and Jenna Adams; his seven loved great-grandchildren, Hayleigh and Cody Messer, Tatin and Ilan Walker, Brancetin Lansing, Joshline and Zoey Sanford; step-grandchildren, Mary (Eric) Brooks, Clinton Stocker; step-great-grandchildren, Maggie and James Brooks.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 3, 2017 at D.W. SWICK-NELSON FUNERAL HOME in New Boston Interment will follow at Memorial Burial Park with Military Honors provided by James Dickey Post 23, American Legion.
