Harold "Dune" Newman

Harold D. Newman "Dune", 63. God received another angel May 31, 2014.He was born Feb. 27, 1951. He was the son of the Late Harold and Eva Kay Robinson. He was a lifetime resident of Akron, Ohio, and was a retired Army Veteran. He will be greatly missed by his wife of 40 years Janie Newman.2 sons Randy L. (Dawn) Newman of Olive Hill, KY, Michael J. Newman (Heather Nichols) of South Shore, KY. and his faithful pet Ellie. He is also survived by a sister Rose Dawson, a step-sister Violet Brook, 2 brothers, J.B. Newman and Gene Newman. 2 step-brother Ted Robinson and Bull Mullins. 2 grandsons Christopher Newman and Tyler Newman. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers Claude Newman, Roy Lee Newman and 1 sister Betty Jo Ramey. Services will be at 2:00 pm Thursday, June 5, 2014, at D. W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME IN NEW BOSTON. Interment will follow at Vernon Cemetery with military graveside honors by James Dickey Post 23, American Legion. Visitation will be 1pm to 2pm on Thursday. Condolences to dwswickfunralhome.com
