Gregory Scott Masters, 47, of Portsmouth, died Saturday, Sept. 10, 2011. He was born January 23, 1964, in Norwalk, Cal., a son of Juanita Winters Masters of New Boston and the late Glenn Masters. Gregory is also survived by his grandmother, Edna Winters Ratliff of Pike Co., Oh; 3 sons, Aaron Masters of Fl., Justin "Sugums" Masters of Portsmouth, Matthew Masters of Zanesville; a daughter, Makia Masters of Zanesville; 2 sisters, Sandy (Rich) Pace of Wheelersburg, Karen (Frank) James of Sciotoville; and two grandchildren, Aaron Masters, Jr., and Austin Masters. Services will be 2pm, Friday, Sept. 16, 2011 at D.W. Swick Funeral Home in New Boston with Pastor Bobby Tackett officiating. Burial will be at Junior Furnace Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from noon until 2 pm at D. W. Swick in New Boston. Serving as pallbearers is Aaron Masters, Justin Masters, Fred Tackett, Shelby Tackett, Dale Tackett, and Bobby Tackett.
