Glenna Ann Smith

Glenna Ann Smith, 95, of Wheelersburg, passed away Thursday November 17, 2022. She was born January 23, 1927 in New Boston, a daughter of the late Richard W. and Gladys (Fremont) Smith. She was a 1944 graduate of Glenwood High School. She had been employed by Merchants Credit Bureau for 28 years, the Bureau of Vocational Rehabilitation, the Village of New Boston and AAA in Russell, KY. Glenna attended Randall Residence Church and formerly was a member of Berean Baptist Church where she was a member of the choir and Handbells choir. Glenna is survived by a brother, Larkin Ralph Smith of Colorado Springs, CO; stepsons, Chester Alan Smith III of Pawley Island, SC; James Paul Smith of Mt. Pleasant, SC; four step grandchildren, two step Great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Phyllis Semones in 2011 and a brother, Richard Smith, Jr. in 2013. Funeral Services will be 1:00 PM Friday November 25, 2022 at D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME 1104 Harrisonville Ave, New Boston, OH 45662 with Pastor Alan Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Memorial Burial Park.
