Glenna Lucille Slark (Morris), 92, of New Boston, Ohio, passed away August 5, 2022 at Resthaven Nursing Home. She was born March 13, 1931, in South Shore, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Hubert Morris and Bertha Conley (Osborne). Mom was known for her beauty and big beautiful smile that could light up any room and the hearts of all who spent time with her. She loved to laugh, giggle, spend time looking at photos of and be told stories about our family. Mom wanted the entire world to know that she was a proud mother and loved her family. She dedicated her heart and soul to both. The other side, Mom was a woman of great strength and strong will. I nicknamed her the “pistol”. You messed with Mama, you would experience her fire and “that look “ that commanded respect. I know you all have stories, and she would be happy for you to honor her by sharing your stories of all sides of Mom. She was a lover of music! Of course Pretty Woman by Roy Orbison was her favorite song. She was our pretty woman and she will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Opal Morris Thompson, Bessie M. Howell, Pauline Wright, three brothers, Paul (Bud) Morris, Robert (Bob) Morris and Johnny Morris of South Shore. Surviving are her two sons, Bobby Caseman of Slocum Station, Ohio, Shane Slark (Corissa) of Georgetown, Kentucky; two daughters, Kay Born (Staten) (Shelly, no. 1)of Georgetown Kentucky, Barbara Staten of Tucson, Arizona; three brothers, Bill Morris of South Shore, Kentucky, George Morris of McArthur, Ohio and Junior Conley of Wheelersburg, Ohio; One sister, Betty Kay Nagel (Lonnie Nagel )of Wheelersburg Ohio, four grandsons, two granddaughters, and 5 great grandchildren. A Funeral and Celebration of Life Services will be 1:00 PM Friday, August 12, 2022 at D. W Swick Funeral Home 1104 Harrisonville Ave. New, Boston Ohio 45662. Burial will follow at Mt.
