Gladys Lyles

Gladys Lyles, 101, of New Boston died Tuesday Feb. 26, 2013 in Louisville, KY. She was born March 10, 1911 in Greenup, KY. a daughter of the late Thomas and Millie Dean Boggs. She was a homemaker and member of Cedar Street Church of Christ in Christian Union. She is survived by 2 sons, Dale (Elva) Lyles of Dade City, FL. and Jerry (Shirley) Lyles of South Shore, KY.; 3 sisters, Thelma Gayhart, Millie Hurst and Juanita Hansen all of Wheelersburg; a brother, Finess Boggs of Sciotoville; 8 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great- grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Marcus Lyles; 2 sons, Ronald Lyles and Dean Lyles; 4 brothers, William, Ernest, Robert and Wilbur Boggs, a sister, Lena Ferrell and 2 grandchildren, Larry Lyles and Gary Lyles. Services will be 1:00 PM Friday March 1, 2013 at D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME IN NEW BOSTON with Pastors Gary Heimbach and Robert Jones officiating. Interment will be at Memorial Burial Park.
