Georgetta Craft

Georgetta L. Craft, 95 of New Boston, passed away Friday, September 28, 2018. She was born May 1, 1923 in Portsmouth, a daughter of the late Bernie and Lena Martin Montgomery She was a member of Cedar St. Church of Christ in Christian Union where she loved attending church. Georgetta loved her dog and cats and enjoyed watching them eat.

She is survived by her caretaker, Callie Yarnell; two sisters-in-law, Hester Craft, Melba Williams Craft; and many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her husband, William Craft and two sisters, Betty Elrod and Sylvia Cooper.

Services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at D.W. SWICK-NELSON FUNERAL HOME in New Boston with Pastor Frank Stidham officiating. Interment will follow at Memorial Burial Park.
