Gary Lee Dupray

Gary Lee DuPray, 77, of Wheelersburg passed away Wednesday, November 1, 2023, at his home.   He was born in Portsmouth January 9, 1946, to the late Avanelle Maxine (Finney) Gillen. Gary was a member of Cedar Street Church of Christ in Christian Union, he loved attending church.  Gary was a golfer and collected sports cards and figurines. Gary loved his cats and was an avid Ohio State Buckeyes football fan.

Gary is survived by his wife, Lisa (Craycraft) DuPray; two sons, Donald Brown and wife Deanna of Jacksboro, Tennessee and Gary Lee DuPray Jr. and wife Fonda of Stanford, KY; one daughter, Sierra DuPray of Wheelersburg; five grandchildren, Skyler Brown, Shaelyn Brown, Shanen Brown, Kennedy Merriman, and Broden Ward; two great-grandchildren, Rowan Merriman and Maren Merriman.  Gary was preceded in death by his mother and stepfather, Avanelle Maxine and Raymond Gillen; and his grandparents, Effie and Julius Finney.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November7, 2023 at D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME in New Boston with Pastor Brad Angus officiating. Interment will follow at South Webster Cemetery.  The family will receive friends Monday evening from 5:00 until 7:00 and one hour prior to the services on Tuesday at the funeral home.  Online Condolences may be left at DWSwickFuneralHome.com.
