Gail M. Stamper

Gail Marlene Stamper, age 78 of Franklin Furnace, passed away Friday, August 18, 2017 at SOMC Hospice in Portsmouth She was born on February 15, 1939 in Portsmouth to Walter and Mildred (Vulgamore) Russell Gail worked on the assembly line for GM Motors in Columbus for many years She loved her poodles, was of the Baptist faith, and loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by son, Randall (Debbie) Evans of Jackson; daughters, Paula Estelle Currence of Wheelersburg, Crystal (Daniel) Adams of Franklin Furnace, Julie Evans of Sciotoville; brother, Steve (Reva) Entler of Beaver; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Harold Currence and Harold Stamper; brothers, Glen Entler and Donnie Entler; sister, Katie Entler.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Gail’s name to SIERRA’S HAVEN.
