Freda Sue Mckelvey
May 5, 1941 — March 31, 2017
Freda Sue McKelvey went to be with her Lord on Friday, March 31, 2017. She was born in Portsmouth, Ohio on May 5, 1941 to Arthur B. and Ida Belle McKelvey. For many years she served faithfully in her church, North End Bible Center, in Lafayette, IN.
Freda is survived by five sisters; Betty Koelker, Norma Burton, Reada Brock, Patricia Humble, and Kay Jenkins. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews as well as two sisters in Christ: Colleen Barkdull and Margie Moffatt. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Joseph C. McKelvey.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at D. W. SWICK-NELSON FUNERAL HOME in New Boston with burial following at South Webster Cemetery. Friends of the family may call for one hour before the service. Online condolences may be left at www.DWSwickNelsonFuneralHome.com.
