Franklin T. Carver, 54, of Portsmouth, Ohio passed away August 10, 2012 at SOMC Hospice Center after an extended illness. Frankie was born May 20, 1958 in Glendale, CA. Frankie is survived by his parents, Frank and Barbara Carver of Portsmouth; three sisters, Kathy and Russ Kalis of Oxford, GA., Pam and Danny Stiltner of Portsmouth and Angie and Tim Barnett of Eatonton, GA.; one brother, Doug and Malinda Carver of Portsmouth; two half sisters, Cheryl Glascock of Wheelersburg and Sharon Williams of South Portsmouth; four nieces, Sarah Bowen of Alanta, GA., special niece Amy Hightower of Minford, Alisha Miller of Portsmouth and Aubree Barnett of Eatonton, GA.; five nephews, Daniel Scaggs of Monroe, MI., special nephew Ryan Hightower of Portsmouth, Jayr Kalis of Hollywood, CA., Scott Kalis of Alanta, GA. and David Carver of Portsmouth; four great- nieces, Stephanie Hightower of Portsmouth, Heaven Scaggs of Monroe, MI., Staci Hightower of Portsmouth and Madison Bowen of Alanta, GA.; four great-nephews, Steven Hightower of Portsmouth, Gage Miller of Portsmouth, Jesse Carver of Portsmouth and Mason Bowen of Alanta, GA. Frankies hobbies were golfing, hunting and rebuilding Harley motorcycles. Memorial services will be held at 6 PM Monday, August 13, 2012 at D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME in New Boston with Pastor Phillip Ruark officiating. The family will will receive friends from 5 to 6 Monday at the funeral home. Condolences to dwswickfuneralhome.com.
