Eva Louise (Spencer) Smith

Age 72 of Portsmouth, passed away Friday, September 8, 2017 at SOMC Hospice in Portsmouth She was born February 12, 1945 in Portsmouth to Cager and Oma (Collins) Spencer She married Perry Smith on December 15, 1964 Louise was a member of the First Christian Holiness Church in New Boston She loved attending church and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband, Perry Smith; son, Perry (Donna) Smith Jr. of Lucasville; 3 daughters, Oma (Donald) Osborne of McDermott, Janey (Randy) Frazier of Rosemount, Sheila (Steve) Winn of Minford; five brothers, Tom Spencer of Portsmouth, Ronnie Spencer of McDermott, Claude Spencer of Chillicothe, Gary (Barb) Spencer of Tennessee, Albert Spencer of Portsmouth; five sisters, Patricia Fields of New Boston, Maltie (Buddy) Winn of Portsmouth, Venus (Carl) Loper of Sciotoville, Mildred Collins of Portsmouth, Becky Orin of McDermott; six grandchildren; one great-grandson In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Roger, Clyde, and Bill Spencer;  and three sisters, Linda Charles, Myrtle Allen, and Evelyn Springs.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. on Monday, September 11, 2017 at First Christian Holiness Church in New Boston with Pastor Lorenzo Bentley officiating Interment will follow at Scioto Burial Park in McDermott Friends may call on Sunday from 5 – 7 p.m. at the church and one hour before the service on Monday.
