Ethel Mae (Clark) Slusher

Age 70 of New Boston, passed away Monday, July 17, 2017 at SOMC Hospice in Portsmouth She was born September 17, 1946 in Greenup, Kentucky to Monroe and Nellie (Scott) Clark A 1965 graduate of Glenwood High School, Ethel worked for over 30 years as a Unit Clerk for Southern Ohio Medical Center, retiring 2012 She attended Unity Full Gospel Fellowship Church in New Boston, enjoyed gardening, and loved spending with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Ethel is survived by daughters, Bonnie (Paul “Buster”) McNutt of Minford, Crystal Williams of New Boston; brother, Paul (Faye) Clark of Deerfield, MI; sisters, Bonnie Ervin of Portsmouth, Shirley Henry of New Boston; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gary; son, Anthony Slusher; brothers, Robert, William, Clark, George, and Donald Clark; sister, Betty Adkins.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 22, 2017 at D.W. SWICK-NELSON FUNERAL HOME in New Boston with Pastor Jack Howard officiating Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Franklin Furnace Friends may call Friday, July 21, 2017 from 5 – 7 p.m. and one hour before the service on Saturday Online condolences may be shared at www.DWSwickNelsonFuneralHome.com.
