Emma Lou Keplinger

Emma Lou "Bootie" Keplinger, 79 of Portsmouth formerly of New Boston died Thursday Feb. 13, 2014 at Heartland of Portsmouth. She was born Feb. 15, 1934 in Nolan, W.VA. a daughter of the late James and Thelma Grimmett Hensley. She was a member of New Boston Eagles, Ladies Duplicate Bridge Club and was an avid bowler. She is survived by a daughter, Beverly Craig and husband Jeff of Sciotoville; a granddaughter, Jodi Stanley, two great-grandchildren, Alexis Bailey and Savannah Stanley; one sister, Lottie Bell Ackison of New Boston and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Keith Keplinger, 2 brothers, James and Floyd Hensley and 2 grandsons, William Keith Stanley and Joseph Aaron Stanley. Visitation will be 11 am to 1 pm  Monday Feb. 17, 2014 at D.W.
