Edith P Paxson

Edith P. Paxson, 83, of Lucasville went home to be with The Lord Jesus on Sat. April 30, 2011 at Southern Ohio Medical Center. She was born Feb. 9, 1928 in Lewis Co., KY. a daughter of the late Otto and Irene White Sieling. She was a homemaker and longtime member of Sand Hill Christian Baptist Church. She is survived by four sons, Jim (Orlene) Paxson of Portsmouth, David (Theresa) Paxson of Wheelersburg, Henry (Kathy) Paxson of Wheelersburg and Bill (Diane) Paxson of New Boston; five daughters, Carolyn (Frank) Armstrong of Marion, Connie Pack of Minford, Susan (Darrell) Goodwin of Lucasville, Sherry (Ralph) McNutt of Portsmouth and Tammy Jenkins of Sciotoville and several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Edith was also preceded in death by her husband, Earl Paxson, a son, John Paxson an infant daughter, Ruth Ann Paxson, a brother, John Seiling and a granddaughter, Misty Dawn Goodwin. Services will be 11 AM Wed. May 4, 2011 at D.W. Swick Funeral Home in New Boston with Pastor Ronnie Blevins officiating. Burial will be at Batterson cemetery.
