Donna Marie Adkins, 54, of Lucasville, died Sunday, February 7, 2010 at St. Mary's Medical Center. She was born July 14, 1955 in Portsmouth, daughter of Jean Vernier Barker, and the late Orville Barker. Donna is survived by her husband, Robert Adkins, whom she married in Green up, Ky on Dec. 9, 1992. She is also survived by 1 sister, Judith (Kenneth Jr.) Galloway of Sciotoville; 2 brothers, Steve (Martha) Barker of Portsmouth, Richard (Cheryl) Barker of Valrico, Fla; 10 nieces and nephews, Brian, Keith, Michelle, and Beth Barker, Kendra Newman, Cassie and Nathan Galloway, Gregory, Matthew, and Katie Barker; and 10 grand-nieces and nephews, Stephen, Christy, and Delilah Howell, Keegan and Kamron Barker, Caitlan and Casey Barker, Gage Reed, Liam Newman, and Anna Rose Barker. Services will be 11am, Thursday, Feb. 11, 2010 at D.W. Swick Funeral Home in New Boston with Pastor Ronnie Blevins officiating. Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery in Portsmouth.
