Donald H. Sanders

Age 83 of New Boston, went to be with the Lord on December 29, 2015 at Hill View Retirement Center in Portsmouth He was born January 24, 1932 in Portsmouth to Howard and Mildred (Gilliland) Sanders Don worked in manufacturing at Detroit Steel and Pepsi Cola He retired in 1994.  He was a member of Cedar Street Church of Christ in Christian Union in New Boston and in his spare time he enjoyed going to old car shows.

Don is survived by his wife, Lena (Brigner) Sanders; two daughters, Kim Adkins (David) of Fort Myers, FL, Kathy Whitaker of Grove City; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant son, Duane Sanders, and one sister, Ruth Windsor.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 2, 2016 at Cedar Street Church of Christ in Christian Union in New Boston with Pastor Gary Heimbach officiating Interment will follow at Memorial Burial Park in Wheelersburg Friends may call Friday from 5 – 7 p.m. at the D.W.
