Dolly Marie Campbell

Proverbs 31:28 Her children arise and call her Blessed .....Dolly Marie Messer Campbell, 89, of Portsmouth passed away January 2, 2021 at SOMC Hospice Center. She was born August 16, 1931 in South Portsmouth, KY to the late Mose and Clara Messer both of South Portsmouth. She was preceded in death by her husband Paul Campbell whom she married on February 10, 1952. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Valerie Campbell. Dolly is survived by her daughter, Sandra (Rick) Bates of Portsmouth; two granddaughters, Julie (JB) Marshall of Portsmouth, Jennifer Neal of Florida and a great grandson Chase Marshall of Portsmouth. Dolly was of the Apostolic Faith and had the Holy Ghost for 80 years. she was a member of Portsmouth Apostolic Church. Sandy would like to give a Special "Thank You" to a few people. First, her best friend of 60 years and caregiver Jean Schintzius and Margaret Taylor another caregiver. Also to her Pastor Randy Schintzius who was like a son and always went above and beyond. She loved him dearly. Last to Dollys church family for your love and support. She could not have done it without you all. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Saturday January 9, 2021 at Portsmouth Apostolic Church 1209 Young St., Portsmouth, OH with Pastor Randy Schintzius officiating.
