Dial Bentley, 72, of Clarktown, died Sunday, Jan. 17, 2010 at SOMC Hospice. He was born July 11, 1937 in Carter County, KY, a son of the late Hatfield and Rebecca Staggs Bentley. He was a member of the First Christian Holiness Church in New Boston. He was retired from the Pepsi Cola Bottling Co. Dial is survived by his wife, Carol Roberts Bentley; 1 son, Dwight Bentley of Waverly; 3 daughters, Kathi (Dean) Dobbert of Dover, DE, Dena Fogle of New Boston, Lana (Dean) Mishey of Ashland, OH; 1 sister, Ollie Greenhill of Columbus; 7 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by 4 brothers, Raymond, Homer, Lorenzo, and Joe Bentley, and an infant brother, Vernon. Services will be 11AM Fri., Jan. 22, 2010 at First Christian Holiness Church with Pastor Lorenzo Bentley officiating. Burial at Candy Run Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8PM Thurs., at D.W.
