Deborah J. Ison, 66 of Franklin Furnace passed away Saturday July 4, 2015 at SOMC in Portsmouth. She was born May 24, 1949 in Ironton. Deborah was a registered nurse and worked in the home healthcare field.
She is survived by two sons, Jamie Dennis and Bobby Bays, and one daughter, Misty Bays-Lutz, all of Franklin Furnace; one sister, Charlene Lovejoy of St. Albans, WV; 6 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; one niece; two nephews; and a host of cousins, friends, co-workers, and patients. She was preceded in death by her mother, Madelyn Sullivan Chapman, and father, Arthur Sullivan; a daughter, Deborah Bays-Clifton; 3 brothers, Clifford and Michael Sullivan, and Paul Shepherd; 2 infant sisters.
Services will be 12 noon, Thursday July 9, 2015 at D.W. SWICK-NELSON FUNERAL HOME IN NEW BOSTON with Pastor Calvin Ray Evans officiating. Interment will follow at Mt.
