Darleen Elizabeth Smith

Darlene Elizabeth Smith, 85, of Sciotodale, passed away Sunday, November 8, 2020 at SOMC Hospice Center in Portsmouth.  She was born in Douglas, AZ, March 26, 1935 to the late Edward Henry and Sarah (Langford) Clark.   She worked several years as a nurse aid in long-term health facilities.  Darlene attended Sciotodale Free Will Baptist Church and enjoyed sewing and craft making.

Darlene is survived by one son, Edward B Smith of Sciotodale; two daughters, Patricia Ann Adams and husband George of Lucasville and Judy Lynn Knipp and husband Danny of Wheelersburg; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.  Darlene was also preceded in death by her husband Oscar Smith; a son, Oscar Ray Smith Jr; two brothers, Phillip Clark and Vincent Clark; a sister, Colleen Steward.
