Danette Louise Williams

Danette Louise Williams, 42, of Portsmouth, died, Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at Southern Ohio Medical Center. She was born Oct. 5, 1969, a daughter of Carolyn Shoemaker Williams of Portsmouth and the late Roger Williams. Danette is also survived by her ex-husband, Danny Johnson of Portsmouth; her twin sister, Nanette (Alf) Bricker of West Portsmouth; two brothers, Charles (Shona) Williams of Sciotoville, Joshua Higgenbotham of Circleville; several nieces and nephews, Brandon Williams, Alfie Bricker, Ashley Bricker, Adam Bricker, Jacob Parson, Cortney Pollard, and two special nieces, Breanna Bricker and Kirsten Williams. She was also preceded in death by a niece, Amber Williams; and her grandparents, Clarence and Helen Shoemaker Easter and Willard and Nell Williams. A Memorial service will be held, Friday, May 25, 2012 at 1:00pm at the North Moreland Christian Baptist Church with Pastor Paul Hagen officiating. The family will receive friends from noon until 1:00pm on Friday. There will be a commital service at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of D.W. Swick Funeral Home in New Boston.
