Cynthia J Perry

Cynthia Perry, born in Portsmouth, Ohio and loving mother to Carl Ratcliff and Jessica Rae Perry, passed away peacefully on December 29, 2022 with family by her side at Southern Ohio Medical Center.

She leaves behind a mother, Janet Cronin; siblings Kenny Cronin (Vickie), Rebecca Cronin Jones (Blair), Christopher Cronin, Jenny Cronin King (Mark), Ben Cronin (Julie), and Allyson Cronin Messer (Jason); four grandchildren, Braeden Cook, A.J. Cook, Raychel Cook, and Evan Cook, eleven nieces and nephews plus a few who married into the family. She was preceded in death by her father Carl Joseph Cronin, two husbands, James Ratcliff and Ray Perry. She lost long-term partner Morton "Ed" Wallace several years prior.

She was an extremely kind and friendly woman with a good heart, always willing to help family in need even when she had little. While she suffered a long-term illness, she accepted the hand she was dealt and worked around it as well as she was able. She was extremely proud of being able to get by on little in times of trouble and make the most of it and tried hard to pass that ability and look on the bright side ethic to her children.

She will be missed.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 2, 2023 at D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME in New Boston with Jason Messer officiating.  Cremation will be handled by the funeral home after the services.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Online condolences may be left at DWSwickFuneralHome.com.
