Christina McGraw, 86, of Portsmouth died Sunday Dec. 1, 2013 at SOMC Hospice Center. She was born Nov. 19, 1927 in New Boston a daughter of the late Lester and Mildred Lambert Scowden. She formerly worked in the Paint Prep Dept. at Goodyear and was a former Williams Manufacturing Employee. She is survived by 2 sons, Joe (Mary) McGraw of New Boston and Danny (Cindy) McGraw of Klamath Falls, OR.; 2 daughters, Peggy Holley of Portsmouth and Penny (Vess) Jordan of Beaver; 6 grandchildren Samantha (Steve) Hamilton of New Boston, Charlie McGraw of New Boston, Chris (Lindsey) McGraw of Charlotte, NC, Rev. Scott (Heather) Holley of Mount Sterling, KY, Melissa Holley of Portsmouth, Danny McGraw of Chiloquin, Or., and 8 special great-grandchildren Kierston McGraw, Ali and Daisy Hamilton, Hunter McGraw, Addy and Layne Holley, Tre` Bratchett and Kamiken McGraw. She is also survived by her sister in law Shelby Scowden along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was also preceded in death by 2 brothers, Howard and Roger Scowden and a sister, Verna Graves. Funeral services will be 3 PM Thursday Dec. 5, 2013 at D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME IN NEW BOSTON with Pastor Kenny Estep officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Wednesday 6 to 8 PM and Thursday 2 to 3 PM at D.W.
