Cheryl Louise Rister

Cheryl Louise Rister, 64, of Portsmouth, passed away Saturday, February 5, 2022 at River Run Health Care Center in Portsmouth. She was born January 8, 1958 in Columbus, Ohio to the late James and Mary (Harkless) Whitaker. Cheryl was self employed as a truck driver for many years.
Cheryl is survived by her husband, Timmy Rister of Portsmouth; her son, Billy Whitaker; her daughter, Katrina Whitaker of Portsmouth; a brother, Michael Whitaker of Columbus; a sister, Debbie Blevins of Portsmouth; a granddaughter, Cheyenne Estele of Portsmouth; two special people in her life, Kimmy and Bill Sizemore. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Dallas Whitaker.
