Cheryl Reneé Glascock

Cheryl Reneé Glascock, 71, born  on October 27, 1953, in Portsmouth, Ohio, passed away on January 23, 2025, at the Southern Ohio Medical Center, leaving behind a legacy of love and devotion. A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, Cheryl's spirit radiated warmth and kindness to all who knew her.

Cheryl was preceded in death by her loving husband, Michael "Mike" Glascock, and her cherished grandparents, Harry and Gusta (Bayes) Boggs, who  raised her. Their influence shaped the remarkable woman she became.

She is survived by her son, David Glascock and his wife, Ashley, of Wheelersburg; her daughter, Jennifer Blake and her husband, Shawn, of South Point; her sister, Sharon Williams and brother-in-law, Bob, of South Portsmouth, KY; and three beloved grandchildren, Breana, Hayley, and Regan, who brought immense joy to her life.

Cheryl was revered not only as a loving family member but also as a good neighbor and friend, embodying the spirit of community and connection. Her longtime friend, Sabra McCoy, of Portsmouth, mourns the loss of a wonderful companion.

Cheryl's life was filled with laughter and love, and she will be profoundly missed by her family and all those whose lives she touched. Her memory will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of her loved ones, where she will forever remain a source of inspiration and strength.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.  Cremation services have been entrusted to SWICK BENTLEY FUNERAL HOME in New Boston.
