Charles Ralph King

Charles Ralph King, 71, of Hamburg, Ark, formerly of Minford, died Wed., Dec. 15, 2010 in Hamburg. He was born, Aug. 12, 1939, in Minford, son of the late Charlie and Lou Emma Cottle King. He was a Field Engineer for ITT and a member of the Aurora #48 Masonic Lodge. Charles is survived by his longtime companion, Sheela Woods of Hamburg, Ark; 2 sons, Charles R.King, Jr. of Portsmouth, and Chris R.(Ginny) King of Lancaster; 1 daughter, Charlotte (Gino)King Bradley of Portsmouth; 1 sister, Verna Kozee of Columbus, GA; and 6 grandchildren. He was also preceded by a brother, Harold king and a sister, Helen Potts. Services will be 12 Noon, Monday, Dec. 20, 2010 at D.W. Swick Funeral Home in New Boston, with Pastor Brian Baer officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Burial Park with military honors by James Dickey Post 23, American Legion. Visitation will be 5:00 -8:00 pm, Sunday and 11:00 to 12 Noon Monday at D.W. Swick in New Boston.
