Charles M. Horner

Charles M. Horner, 93 of North Moreland, died Sun. April 17, 2011 at home. He was born June 20, 1917 in Lewis Co., KY., a son of the late John and Cora Mae Henderson Horner. He was a retired conductor at Detriot Steel Corp. and attended High Praises Church of God. He is survived by his wife, Darlene Eggers Horner whom he married on June 2, 1946 in Greenup, KY. ; two sons, Charles R. Horner and Larry Horner both of Portsmouth; a daughter, Janice Sue Ricksneuwoehner and husband Joe of Mountain Home, Ark.; a brother, Edward Horner of Vermillion and several grandchildren and

great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Latricia Thomas and 16 brothers and sisters. Services will be 1 PM Thurs., April 21, 2011 at D.W. Swick Funeral Home in New Boston with Brother Sam Salyer officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Burial Park. Visitation will be Wednesday 5 to 8 PM and Thursday 12 to 1 PM at D.W.
