Anna M. Earls, 95, of New Boston died Tuesday Jan. 1, 2013 at SOMC Hospice Center. She was born Feb. 21, 1917 in Elliot Co., KY., a daughter of the late William and Ruth Caudill Barnett. She was a member of Ohio Ave. Christian Church for over 60 years and was a former Williams Shoe Factory employee. Anna is survived by her brother in law, Nelson Bellar of Portsmouth; a sister in law, Helen Barnett of Lucasville; Nephews and nieces, Roy Barnett and wife Gail of Lucasville, Rita Baird and husband Glen of Fla., Jim Barnett and wife Barbara of Wheelersburg and Gary Bellar and wife Rosemary of Wheelersburg. She was the great aunt of Tracy Bellar and wife Pam, Michele Cantrell and husband Jeremy, Melissa Lenhart and husband Troy, Barry Barnett and wife Cheryl, Kelly Schmidt and husband Carl, Crystal Reich and Tara DeLong of Fla., Lori Barnett of Wheelersburg and Rebecca Brechvill of Newark. She is also survived by several brothers and sisters, Russell and Dorothy Cook, Delortha Bragg, Brenda Pflieger and Carolyn Fiffe. Three special friends she worked with at Williams Shoe Factory, Sylvia, Margaret and Delores Turner of Florida. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Hubert Earls; 2 sisters, Milta Bellar and Jeannette Lintz; brothers, Anthony, Burlin, and Richard Barnett and 5 brothers from Wisconson. Services will be 1:00 PM Saturday Jan. 5, 2013 at D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME IN NEW BOSTON with James Woodard, Minister officiating. Interment will be at Salt Creek cemetery.
