Carol Irene McFann, 90, of Portsmouth peacefully fell asleep and awakened in the arms of her Lord and Savior at Heartland of Portsmouth on July 9, 2014. She was a daughter of the late Clarence and Doris Magaw Gahm. She was a member of Victory Baptist Church and a former cook at North Moreland School and Central Kitchen manager for the Portsmouth School System with 25 years of service. She is survived by two sons, Steve (Kootela) Collins of West Portsmouth and James (Geneene) Collins of Wheelersburg; two daughters, Carolyn (Garry) Fuller of West Portsmouth and Anita (Larry) Mills of McDermott; one brother, H. Richard Gahm; grandchildren, Gene Collins, John Collins, DeAnna McKever, Jayme Collins, Scott Collins, Garry B. Fuller, Andy Fuller, Chris Leslie and Lora Bills; 22 great-grandchildren and 7 great- great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her husbands, Eugene E. Collins whom she was married to for 33 years, Robert Luster whom she was married to for 14 years and Alfred McFann for 20 years. Services will be 10 AM Saturday July 12, 2014 at D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME IN NEW BOSTON with Rev. Larry Hammond and Rev. Jack Howard officiating. Interment will follow at Memorial Burial Park. Visitation will be Friday 6 to 8 PM and Saturday 9 to 10 AM at D.W. Swick in New Boston. Condolences to dwswickfuneral home.com
