Carla Pierce

Easter "Carla" Pierce, 50 of North Moreland passed away Tues., June 9, 2009 at SOMC Hospice Center. She was born Oct. 13, 1958 in Portsmouth. She is survived by her parents, James and Joanne Lintz Pierce of North Moreland; two brothers, James (Teresa) Pierce and Jeff (Debra) Pierce all of Portmouth; a sister, Mindy (Shane) Ross of Portsmouth, 5 nephews, 6 nieces,5 aunts,1 great aunt and several cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, 2 uncles and a great uncle. Services will be be 2 PM Saturday, June 13, 2009 at D.W. Swick Funeral Home in New Boston with Pastor Paul Hagen officiating. Burial will be at Stockdale cemetery. Visitation will be Friday 5 to 8 PM and Saturday 1 to 2 PM at D.W. Swick in New Boston.
