Bruce King Age 65 of Sciotoville passed away May 8, 2021 while in Florida. He was born September 15, 1955 in Sciotoville to Garrett and Eileen (Perkins) King. Bruce was a retired laborer and member of Labor Local 83 of Portsmouth. He loved NASCAR, and enjoyed playing euchre with family and friends. He is survived by two daughters, Amber (Lance) Richardson of Portsmouth, Rhonda (Arthur) Blanton (Carl) of Oak Hill; grandchildren, Aziah (James) and Darray Richardson, Timothy King, Tilly Greene, Cainen and Elijah Spencer, A.J. and L.J. Barnes, Jenna Jackson; brothers, Dale (Rhonda), Dennis, Roy (Bev), Tom (Connie) King, and Dickie Kinnison; sisters, Delores Gilpin, Vickie (Don) Toms, Joy (Larry) Hemby; special friends Glen and Brenda Mollett. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Deena, son Bruce, daughter Alicia Barnes, brothers Jim Withrow, John Stiltner, Gary, Garrett Jr., Mark, and Charlie King.
Visitation will be 10 to 11 AM Saturday May 15, 2021 with funeral services to follow at 11 AM at D.W SWICK FUNERAL HOME, (WOLFE-NELSON CHAPEL) in Sciotoville with Pastor Shawn Spencer officiating.
