Brenda Joy Lewis

Brenda Joy Lewis, 70, of Wheelersburg, passed away, Saturday, February 5, 2022 at SOMC.  Brenda was born December 22, 1951 to the late Harold and Joy (Williams) Burns in Portsmouth, Ohio.  She worked as a home health aide, loved to line dance and go shopping, especially yard sales.

Brenda is survived by two sons, Roger Lunsford of Wheelersburg, Aaron Lunsford of New Boston; two daughters, Shawna Book and husband Terry of McDermott, Stacy Bradford of Wheelersburg; two sisters, Cheryl Hammond and husband Charlie of Wheelersburg, Cindy Messer of Wheelersburg; seven grandchildren, Dustin Bradford and wife Brittany, Ryan Bradford, Nathan Bradford, Tyler Bradford, Zackary Lunsford, Roger Lunsford, and Brittney Book; two great grandchildren, Lillyana Bradford and Ryder Bradford.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Stephen Lewis; and a brother, Bill Burns.

Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. Friday, February 11, 2022 at D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME in New Boston with Pastor Casey Harness officiating.  Interment will follow at Friendship Cemetery.  Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Friday.  Online condolences may be left at DWSwickFuneralHome.com.
