Bob Keith Marshall

Age 74 of Rosemount, passed away at his home on Sunday, February 21, 2016 He was born at home in Sciotoville on August 15, 1941 to Kermit and Mary (Keith) Marshall Bob was a 1960 graduate of Glenwood High School and drove trucks professionally for UPS for 35 years, operating out of the Columbus area He was a member of the UPS Circle of Honor for his excellent driving record.  While living in Kentucky he was a volunteer firefighter in Flemingsburg and Treasurer of the local Masonic Lodge After his retirement he worked as a driver for the Licking Valley CAP.  He enjoyed motorcycling, was a camping enthusiast, and was a great cook.  Above all, his passion was singing country music, whether with his own band, the Whiskey River Band, or with other groups

Bob is survived by his wife, Jannie, who he married January 6, 2006; stepson, Larry Alan Hale of Portsmouth; one brother, Bill (Janet) Marshall of Punta Gorda, FL; one sister, Lana (Bob) Hoddinott of FL; one granddaughter, Jordan (Mark) Melcher of Columbus; sisters-in-law, Mary (James) Mingus of Minford, Julie Hawkins of Morehead, KY; brother-in-law, John (Janet) Schomburg of Columbus; special cousins, Loretta (Scotty) Mitchell and their daughter, Marsha Mitchell, all of Flemingsburg, KY In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Bobby Marshall, Jr.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 27, 2016 at D.W. SWICK-NELSON FUNERAL HOME in New Boston.   Entombment will follow at Memorial Burial Park in Wheelersburg.
