Betty Mills

Betty R. Mills, 81, of New Boston went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thurs., Oct. 21, 2010 at SOMC Hospice Center. She was born June 8, 1929 in North Moreland, a daughter of the late Alva and Zola Mae Evans Curry. She was a member of Cedar St. Church of Christ in Christian Union where she was the Chior Director for 47 years and was a former LPN. Betty is survived by two daughters, Billie Jean Adams and Marilee Sue Schoonover both of Oakland City, IND; one son, "Big" John Mills of New Boston; a sister, Mary Urquhart of Bel Aire, MD; 4 grandchildren, Meredith Bysarovich, Cassandra Casey, Erin Jaynes and Adam Bysarovich. Betty was also preceded in death by her husband, William B. Mills and a brother, James Curry. Services will be 10 AM Sat., Oct. 23, 2010 at Cedar St. Church of Christ in Christian Union with Pastor Gary Heimbach officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Burial Park. Visitation will be Friday 6 to 8 PM at D.W. Swick Funeral Home in New Boston and Saturday 9 to 10 AM at the church. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the church.
