Archie "Jim" James Jordan

Archie James "Jim" Jordan, 91, of Portsmouth, passed away Sunday, January 17, 2021 at Portsmouth Health and Rehab in Portsmouth.  Jim was born in Carter County, Ky. to the late Albert and Pearl (McGinnis) Jordan.  He was the owner and operator of JJ's Convenient Mart in Portsmouth.  Jim was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend.  Family was his life.  Every man should strive to be the man he was.

Jim is survived by a daughter, Cheryl Mershon and husband Timothy; grandchildren, Dustin James Cook, Sarah Nagle - Yang and husband Michael, Alex Nagle and wife Mia, Ruth Nagle and husband Bill, Veronica Jordan, Jordan Nagle and wife Courtney, Andrew Nagle, Evan Nagle and wife Nicole; fourteen great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.  Jim was also preceded in death by his wife, Leona Maxine "Mac" Jordan; son, Ronald Lee Jordan; daughter, Nancy (Mi ke) Nagle; one brother, Delbert Jordan; four sisters, Dorothy Starnes, Mildred Conley, Mary Sloas, Mable Roffe; half sisters, Ethel McGinnis, Eddie Young and Louise Alcott; half brother, Elwood Haney.
