Anthony Richard Moore, Sr., 59, of New Boston, died Thursday, Nov. 17, 2011 at SOMC Hospice in Portsmouth. He was born January 28, 1952, in Gary, Indiana, a son of the late George Moore and Marilyn Smith Lankford. He was a member of the Sunday night mixed league at Rainbow Bowling Lanes and the New Boston Eagles. Anthony is survived by a son, Anthony "TJ" Moore Jr., of New Boston; two daughters, Natasha Moore of Portsmouth and Toni Marie Moore of Sciotoville; two sisters, Melody Moore of New Boston and Sheila Barlow of NC; a granddaughter, Jaylin and three grandsons, Braden, Issac, and Austin. He was also preceded in death by a brother, David Earl Moore. A memorial service will be held 3 pm Saturday, Nov. 19, 2011 at D.W. Swick Funeral Home in New Boston with Pastor Brian Holbrook officiating. There will be a gathering of family and friends on Saturday from 1 to 3 pm at D.W. Swick in New Boston.
