Anita J Sweeney

Anita J. Sweeney, 58, of Beaver, passed away Tuesday January 30, 2024 at her residence. She was born August 12, 1965 in Portsmouth, a daughter of the late Raymond and Imogene Grubb Caldwell. She was a former Cosmetologist and a 1982 graduate of Scioto County Votec. She was a very kind and good person who enjoyed remodeling and woodcrafts. Anita is survived by her husband, Paul Sweeney; a son, Ryan (Tiffany) Appleton of Dublin; a daughter, Maranda Appleton of Wheelersburg; a brother, Cecil (Shirley) Burton of Orient; sisters, Patty (Jerry) Burgess of Sciotoville, Ellen Cooper of Wheelersburg, Sue White of Sciotoville and Brenda Caldwell of Casselberry, FL; 2 grandchildren, Ireland and Bianca. Also surviving are her very special niece and nephew, Billie Jean and Steve Williams as well as many others; special friends, Becy Manbevers and Mike Allen. She was also preceded in death by 2 brothers, Roger Burton and Mike Burton. Funeral Services will be 10 AM Saturday, February 3, 2024 at D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME in New Boston with Pastor Lorenzo Bentley officiating. Interment will follow at Memorial Burial Park.
