Alvetta Jean (Gifford) Robinson

Age 68 of Circleville formerly of Portsmouth, passed away Friday, March 30, 2018 at her home She was born in Otway on August 6, 1949 to Thomas and Virginia (Sparks) Gifford A 1967 graduate of Northwest High School, Alvetta worked for over 25 years as a caregiver in Circleville at MRDD and volunteered with the Special Olympics She enjoyed working puzzles, sewing, arts and crafts, and making holiday decorations More than anything she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her son, Monty Robinson of Williamsport; daughter, Crystal (Phillip) Evans of Williamsport; brothers, Thomas (Darlene) Gifford of Circleville, Robert (Michelle) Gifford of Circleville; sisters, Blanche Pollard of Hilliard, Loretta (Buck) Dingus of FL, Brenda (Gary) Keppler of Beaver, Beverly (Dick) Garrett of Circleville, Susan Cornwell of Circleville, Diane (Brain) Starkey of Richmondale, Kathy (Billy) Shepherd of Piketon; grandchildren, Nick, Cody, Nate, Gabe, and Isaac; great-grandchildren, Aiden and Lilli; many nieces and nephews In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence, in 2008, and brother, Roger Gifford.
