Alta Jeanette Lintz

Alta Jeanette Lintz, 68, of Portsmouth, died Monday, February 21, 2011 at SOMC Hospice Center. She was born May 19, 1942, in New Boston, a daughter to the late William and Nellie Cartee Barnett. She is survived by 3 sons; Steven Lintz of Wheelersburg, Timothy Lintz of Portsmouth, David Lintz of Portsmouth; 3 brothers, Richard Barnett of Lancaster, Russell Barnett of Garrison, Ky, Phillip Barnett of Wheelersburg; sisters, Dorothy Cook of Sciotoville, Faye Bragg of Columbus, Brenda Pfleiger of Columbus, Carolyn Fyffe of Garrison, Ky, Ann Earls of New Boston; and her special sister Joann Pierce of Portsmouth. Alta was also preceded in death by her husband Floyd who died in 1985, and several brothers and a sister. Services will be 11am Thursday, February 24, 2011 at D.W. Swick Funeral Home in New Boston, with Pastors Ron Parker and Bernard Twinam officiating. Burial will be at Stockdale Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday 5-8pm and Thursday 10-11 am at D.W.
