Albert Louis Brown
July 3, 1938 — January 30, 2024
Albert Louis Brown, age 85, went into the arms of the Lord January 30, 2024, surrounded by his family, at SOMC Hospice in Portsmouth. He was born July 03, 1938 in Sciotoville. Albert was an active member of First Christian Holiness Church in New Boston, where his dedication to God and serving in positions as Trustee, Elder, along with Adult Sunday School Teacher. Albert enjoyed fishing and gardening, especially his Dolly Parton tomato plants, which he grew many each year.
Albert is survived by sons, Michael Brown (Thelma) of West Portsmouth OH, Patrick Brown (Virginia) of Portsmouth, VA, Jimmy Brown (Laura) of Cleveland, OH, Danny Brown (Christine) of Portsmouth OH; sisters, Evelyn Butts of Wheelersburg, OH and Marilyn Fisher of Wheelersburg, OH and several grandchildren and great great grandchildren. He was preceeded in death by his wife Mary Brown; son Mark Brown; daughter Cheryl Ann Brown; two grandsons, Scotty Brown and Nathaniel Kreed; and brother Raymond Brown.
Funeral Services will be 1:00PM Friday February 02, 2024 at D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME New Boston with Pastor Lorenzo Bentley officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Franklin Furnace, OH.
