Ada Love

Age 81 of Portsmouth died December 25, 2016 at her home She was born December 20, 1935 in Jamboree, KY to Muncie and Vada (Blankenship) Estep Ada enjoyed gardening, especially her flowers, music, bowling, working puzzles, word search, and watching Cash Explosion In her younger days she enjoyed dancing She attended Church of High Praises and had been a dedicated employee of the domestic violence shelter in Portsmouth She enjoyed traveling and was an excellent cook. Above all, Ada was a loving mother and grandmother who found tremendous joy in her family.

She is survived by three sons, James (Becky) Ramey of Bluffton, Edward Ramey and longtime girlfriend Letafaye Conrad of Burgoon, and Bryan (Janet) Ramey of Portsmouth; two brothers, Audley Estep of Burgoon, Cecil Estep of Beach Island, South Carolina; two sisters, Ermal Estep of Shelby, KY, Opal Mae Nunley of SC; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, Bruce and Cletus; two sisters, Hazel Tolliver and Oakie Stacy.
