Ada Mae Justice 96, of New Boston died Thurs., Nov. 25, 2010 at Best Care Convalescent Center. She was born March 20, 1914 in Lewis Co., KY. a daughter of the late Rev. T.N. Thomas and Rosa Mason Kerr. She was a retired registered nurse, a member of Cedar St. Church of Christ in Christian Union and had been active with the State Extension and Ladies ECL Group at the church. She is survived by a son, Jerry Justice of Portsmouth; 2 daughters, Phyllis Sparks of Eden Park and Janet King of Pataskala; 7 grandchildren, Bill (Sheila) Sparks of Groveport, OH., Sue Laipply of New Boston, Kelly (Rodney) Lawson of Wheelersburg, Duane King of Columbus, David (Tracy) of Columbus and Joshua Justice of Ironton, 9 great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Russell Justice whom she married on March 20, 1938 in New Boston, a brother, Floyd Kerr, 3 sisters, Opal Zeigenbusch, Glenna Streitenberger and Hazel Seth and grandson, Douglas Sparks. Ada was lovingly cared for by her family with much special attention given by her son Jerry, grandson Ryan, and Special Caregiver Brenda Lamblin. Thanks to all the staff at Best Care and SOMC Hospice. Services will be 1 PM Tues. Nov. 30, 2010 at Cedar St. Church of Christ in Christian Union with Pastors Gary Heimbach and Robert Jones officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Burial Park. Visitation will be 5 to 8 PM Monday at D.W. Swick Funeral Home in New Boston and Tuesday 12 to 1 PM at the church.
